The Website enables you to browse and purchase digital programs and services focused on building confidence in midlife women that have been listed for sale through the Website (collectively the "Products"). The Website provides this service by granting you access to the content on the Website (the "Services").
(b) The Website is managed by Your Next Step Forward ([Insert Company Number if applicable]). Access to and use of the Website, or any of its associated products or services, is provided by Your Next Step Forward. Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully. By using, browsing and/or reading the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, you must cease usage of the Website, or any of its products or services, immediately.
(c) Your Next Step Forward reserves the right to review and change any of the Terms by updates to this page at its sole discretion. When we update the Terms, we will use reasonable endeavours to provide you with notice of updates. Any changes to the Terms take immediate effect from the date of publication.
2. AGREEMENT OF THE TERMS
You accept the Terms by enroling for the Services and/or making any payment as required under the Terms for use of the Services. You may also accept the Terms by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms where this option is made available to you in the user interface.
3. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ACCESS
(a) To gain access to the Products and Services, you are required to register for an account through the Website ("Account").
(b) During the registration process, or as part of your continued use of the Products or Services, you may need to supply personal details about yourself (such as identification or contact details), including:
- (i) full name
- (ii) password
- (iii) email address
- (iv) postal address
(c) You guarantee that all information provided to Your Next Step Forward in the course of completing the registration process will always be accurate, correct and up to date.
(d) Once you have completed the registration process, you will be a registered member of the online learning platform ("Membership Portal") and agree to be bound by the Terms.
(e) You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if:
- (i) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with Your Next Step Forward; or
- (ii) you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of England and Wales or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services.
4. YOUR OBLIGATIONS WHEN YOU PURCHASE A PRODUCT
You agree to comply with the following:
(a) you will not share your profile with any other person;
(b) you will use the Services only for purposes that are permitted by:
- (i) the Terms; and
- (ii) any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions;
(c) you have sole responsibility for protecting the confidentiality of your password and/or email address. Use of your password by any other person may result in the immediate cancellation of the Services;
(d) any use of your registration information by any other person, or third parties, is strictly prohibited. You agree to immediately notify Your Next Step Forward of any unauthorised use of your password or email address or any breach of security of which you have become aware;
(e) you must not impersonate another participant or use the profile or password of another participant at any time;
(f) any content that you broadcast, publish, upload, transmit, post or distribute on the Website ("Your Content") will always be accurate, correct and up to date and you will maintain reasonable records of Your Content;
(g) you agree that you will treat all other participants of the Product with respect and kindness (where interaction with other participants is made available to you);
(h) access and use of the Website is limited, non-transferable and allows for the sole use of the Website by you for the purposes of providing the Services;
(i) you will not use the Services or the Website in connection with any commercial endeavours except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by the management of Your Next Step Forward;
(j) you will not use the Services or Website for any illegal and/or unauthorised use which includes collecting email addresses of participants by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or unauthorised framing of or linking to the Website;
(k) you agree that commercial advertisements, affiliate links and other forms of solicitation may be removed from member profiles without notice and may result in termination of the Services. Appropriate legal action will be taken by Your Next Step Forward for any illegal or unauthorised use of the Website; and
(l) you acknowledge and agree that any automated use of the Website or its Services is prohibited.
5. PRODUCT AND LICENCE INFORMATION
(a) Your Product includes access to an online educational platform ("Membership Portal").
(b) When you purchase the Product, Your Next Step Forward grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sub licensable, non-transferable licence to access and use the specific Product and any related software, content, equipment or other materials for your specific, non-commercial use only ("Licence").
(c) The Licence is valid for the term as outlined on the Product information page ("Licence Term"). This means the Product will be viewable via the download link for the Licence Term only. After this time the Program will expire and you will no longer be able to access the Product.
6. PAYMENT
(a) By Your Next Step Forward offering the Services to you, and you agreeing to purchase through the Website, you will agree to the payment of the price listed on the Website.
(b) All payments made in the course of your use of the Services are made using Thinkific. In using the Website, the Services or when making any payment in relation to your use of the Services, you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Thinkific terms and conditions which are available on their website.
6.1 PAYMENT PLAN
(a) You have agreed to make payment via a payment plan with details outlined on the product information page.
(b) By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that Your Next Step Forward will debit your original payment method on the dates outlined in the payment plan.
(c) In the event that a payment under a payment plan is not made as and when it is due, all remaining payments under the payment plan will become immediately due and payable from the date of the non-payment and your access to the Products will immediately be revoked.
7. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
(a) All services are provided in compliance with UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Any benefits set out in this Policy may apply in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer protection laws.
(b) You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason (the "cooling-off period"). However, if you request that the performance of services begins during the cooling-off period, you will lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed.
(c) The Program is non-refundable after the 14-day cooling-off period has expired or once you have accessed the content. This means that if you wish to terminate the Program after this point, the purchase price is non-refundable.
(d) If you are paying through a payment plan and wish to cancel during the cooling-off period, you are required to pay for any services already provided.
(e) Your Next Step Forward may change the Cancellation Policy at any time with reasonable notice, and bookings made in advance of the change will not be affected.
(f) Your Next Step Forward reserves the right to terminate your involvement in the Program for breach of these Terms with 7 days' notice by email.
(g) If Your Next Step Forward terminates your involvement in the Program, you agree to pay Your Next Step Forward for the portion of the services completed up to the date and time of termination.
(h) Notwithstanding the above clauses, if you are unsatisfied with the services provided by Your Next Step Forward or you believe that you may be entitled to a refund:
- (i) contact Your Next Step Forward directly by emailing laurie@yournextstepforward.com to request a refund.
(i) If Your Next Step Forward is contacted by you requesting a refund pursuant to the above clause, Your Next Step Forward agrees to immediately send the refund request form to you and ask for it to be returned completed.
(j) If Your Next Step Forward agrees to a full refund or part of the payments, they will be made to you directly, less any fees and charges incurred by Your Next Step Forward in processing the refund.
8. ONLINE COMMUNITY
(a) Some products include interaction with other participants via private online groups or forums for support, growth and community. As such, Your Next Step Forward, at its discretion, reserves the right to remove, edit or alter any content created by you on any online group or platform related to the services in order to maintain the purpose and integrity of the group forum. You agree to be bound by these rules and will not:
- (i) harm, harass, hassle or abuse other participants; or
- (ii) give professional advice in relation to psychology, mental health, or any related topic unless qualified to do so; or
- (iii) send unwelcome communication such as spam to other participants; or
- (iv) act in an unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable manner; or
- (v) infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any participant or any third party.
(b) You accept and agree that any third-party platform terms and conditions will govern your continued participation in the services.
9. PRODUCT DISCLAIMER
This course may include content involving psychological themes that could potentially trigger adverse reactions. For your safety and wellbeing, we recommend that individuals with the following conditions consult with their healthcare provider before enrolling:
Epilepsy or other seizure disorders
Severe mental health conditions including but not limited to: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, severe personality disorders, or other psychiatric conditions that may be adversely affected by course content
(b) By enrolling in this course, you acknowledge that:
- You have considered any personal medical or mental health conditions that may be relevant
- You assume responsibility for your own wellbeing during course participation
- You will discontinue participation if you experience any adverse effects
- The course provider is not responsible for any health-related incidents that may occur
- If you have any of the above-mentioned conditions, we strongly encourage you to seek medical advice before proceeding with enrolment.
(c) You agree you are solely responsible for monitoring your own emotional state and wellbeing during and after engaging with the course materials, arising out of the product or from Your Next Step Forward's relationship with you. As such, you agree that Your Next Step Forward is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any Products it provides.
(d) You understand that the Products are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Additionally, the Products are not to be used as a substitute for professional counselling and mental health care. It is your exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. You understand and agree that the Products are not a replacement for therapy or similar professional services.
(e) You agree to release and discharge Your Next Step Forward from and against all claims arising out of or in connection with the provision of the Products, except where such claims arise from our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
(f) You understand that to get the most out of the Product you agree to make time to complete all of the lessons and worksheets and engage fully with the program content.
10. INFORMATION DISCLAIMER
(a) Your Next Step Forward does not guarantee specific results or experiences through the use of the Products. Any information, advice, content or documentation provided through Products, on the website, or in any online educational materials, online groups, digital products, blog posts, or on any other related platform do not constitute medical, professional, psychological or other professional advice, and are provided for general information and guidance purposes only.
(b) All care is taken in the preparation of the information in the Products, on the website, or in any related materials. Your Next Step Forward does not make any representations or give any warranties about its accuracy, reliability, completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.
(c) To the extent permissible by law, Your Next Step Forward will not be liable for any expenses, losses, damages (including indirect or consequential damages) or costs which might be incurred as a result of the information being inaccurate or incomplete in any way and for any reason, except where such liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. CRISIS SUPPORT
(a) Your Next Step Forward does not provide a crisis support service.
(b) Your Next Step Forward cannot guarantee to be available to respond promptly to messages via email, social media, or other communication channels.

If you are having thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or hurting someone else; or you are in distress and having trouble getting support, Your Next Step Forward advises you to contact one or more of the following crisis services until you are safe:
- i. Emergency services at 999 or NHS 111;
- ii. Your General Practitioner;
- iii. Samaritans (116 123);
12. WARRANTY
Your Next Step Forward will use its best efforts and take all reasonable steps to help you achieve your desired results through the program content. However, Your Next Step Forward makes no warranty that the Products will meet all your individual requirements or that all participants will achieve the same results.
(b) Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have certain legal rights. These Terms do not affect those rights. For more information about your rights, visit the Citizens Advice website or contact your local Trading Standards office.
13. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
(a) The Website, the Services and all of the related products of Your Next Step Forward are subject to copyright. The material on the Website is protected by copyright under UK law and through international treaties. Unless otherwise indicated, all rights (including copyright) in the Services and compilation of the Website are owned or controlled by Your Next Step Forward.
(b) All trademarks, service marks and trade names are owned, registered and/or licensed by Your Next Step Forward, who grants to you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable licence whilst you are a member to:
- (i) use the Website pursuant to the Terms;
- (ii) copy and store the Website and the material contained in the Website in your device's cache memory; and
- (iii) print pages from the Website for your own personal and non-commercial use.
(c) You may not, without the prior written permission of Your Next Step Forward: broadcast, republish, upload to a third party, transmit, post, distribute, show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the Services for any purpose, unless otherwise provided by these Terms.
(d) Where you broadcast, publish, upload, transmit, post or distribute Your Content on the Website, then you grant to Your Next Step Forward a non-exclusive, transferrable, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use Your Content for business purposes.
14. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
a) If you choose to contribute any content to the Website or any other platform operated by Your Next Step Forward, you are solely responsible for it. This includes comments, reviews, posts, photos, pictures, images, videos, materials or other user-generated content or information ("Your Content").
(b) By contributing content to the Website, you grant Your Next Step Forward a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use Your Content in any way that it chooses for business purposes.
(c) You confirm you own or have the right to use any copyright material included in Your Content and that you are not infringing any third-party rights by submitting the content to Your Next Step Forward.
(d) Your Next Step Forward reserves the right to remove Your Content at any time. Your Content must not be malicious, libellous, false, inaccurate, threatening, abusive, obscene, defamatory or otherwise objectionable and offensive.
15. MAILING LIST
(a) You will be given the option to register for the Your Next Step Forward mailing list.
(b) If you choose to register for the mailing list, you agree to receive promotional material, updates and other content from Your Next Step Forward. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
16. PRIVACY
Your Next Step Forward takes your privacy seriously and any information provided through your use of the Website and/or Services are subject to our Privacy Policy, which is available on the Website and complies with UK GDPR requirements.
17. GENERAL DISCLAIMER
(a) Nothing in the Terms limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (or any liability under them) which by law may not be limited or excluded.
(b) Subject to this clause, and to the extent permitted by law, Your Next Step Forward will not be liable for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of profit or opportunity, or damage to goodwill arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms, whether at common law, under contract, tort (including negligence), in equity, pursuant to statute or otherwise.
(c) Use of the Website and the Services is at your own risk, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
18.BUSINESS RIVALS
Should you operate a commercial enterprise offering comparable services, you are considered a business rival of Your Next Step Forward. Business rivals are prohibited from utilising or obtaining any data or materials available on our Website unless specifically authorised in writing.
19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
(a) Your Next Step Forward's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you have paid for the Services, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
(b) Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.
20. TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
(a) If you want to terminate the Terms, you may do so by providing Your Next Step Forward with 7 days' notice by email to laurie@yournextstepforward.com.
(b) Your Next Step Forward may at any time terminate the Terms with you if:
- (i) you have breached any provision of the Terms;
- (ii) Your Next Step Forward is required to do so by law;
- (iii) the provision of the Services to you is no longer commercially viable.
(c) Your Next Step Forward reserves the right to discontinue or cancel your Product at any time and may suspend or deny your access to all or any portion of the Website or the Services if you breach any provision of the Terms.
21. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify Your Next Step Forward from and against all reasonable costs and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, except where such costs arise from our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
22. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
(a) If a dispute arises out of or relates to the Terms, the parties should first attempt to resolve the dispute through direct negotiation.
(b) If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 28 days, the parties may agree to use alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.
(c) Any disputes that cannot be resolved through the above methods will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
23. APPLICABLE LAW AND LEGAL PROCEEDINGS
The Services offered by Your Next Step Forward are available for worldwide use but remain subject to United Kingdom legislation. All disputes stemming from or connected to the Website shall be adjudicated solely within the courts of England and Wales, irrespective of where users are based.
24. GOVERNING LAW
The Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in any way relating to the Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
25. SEVERANCE
If any part of these Terms is found to be void or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that part shall be severed and the rest of the Terms shall remain in force.
